DWS-Downflow Workstation Ductless 24"

The DWS is a "ready to use", compact, bench top, recirculatory downflow workstation ideal for use in lab environments where space is limiter or where only small volumes of harmful substance is handled.

The DWS provides unrestricted access to the work area, ideal for those operations that are difficult to perform within a conventional panelled fume hood.

There is NO DUCTING needed for operation or setup. Fumes, Gases, vapors and particulates are passed through the units filters, re-circulating clean air back into the laboratory. This ensures that no dangerous substances are released into the air surrounding the lab. It's ductless construction also allows the unit to be easily moved and transported.

The stainless steel tray is removable for easy cleaning and provides access to the prefilter. A spillage tray is located below the work surface. Integral lighting gives good illumination of the work area.

The operator is protected by a face velocity of .5 M/Sec, ensuring the containment of all fumes and particulates. If the airflow falls to an unacceptable level then the operator will be alerted by the built in alar.

There are 11 different Carbon/HEPA filter types to fit your specific application.
