Agar Drying Cabinet

The Agar Drying Cabinet is a "ready to use" benchtop mounted unit which has been specifically designed to meet the requirements of microbiology technicians who need to dry agar plates to prepare them for inoculation with bacteria and is suitable for agar plates that contain temperature sensative products such as blood, egg yolk and antibiotics.

To create the correct conditions within the unit ambient air passes through a pre-filter as it is drawn into the lower chamber where upon thermstatically controlled heat is introduced before the air enters the drying chamber via highly efficient HEPA filters to temperate laminar flow conditions within the chamber.
