The Gieserlab GL24FW downflow ductless fingerprint workstation allows dusting without inhaling fingerprint powders and other fumes. It protects personnel and prevents other instruments and apparatus from  becoming covered with black powder. The heart of our unit is the powerful 160 CFM centrifugal fan which effectively traps fingerprint powders of all types. Air is drawn through perforated stainless steel work surface, through the technostat filter, through the HEPA filter and then is safely returned into the room as clean air. The unit is light weight (46 lbs) and is easily transfered from lab to van as needed. Constructed of black polypropylene and with a flat unimpeded work surface. The open top allows for examination of large or long items of evidence without the interference by top hood or plastic sides.
