The Gieserlab GL Series Forensic Evidence Drying Cabinets combine high quality construction with innovative design concepts. Our cabinets are built to protect lab personnel from hazardous biological fluids , odors, gases and particulates. Air is drawn through the top of the cabinet with powerful 200 CFM fan(s), which passes through and dries wet or damp evidence. We designed our units to draw room air from the top (where air is usually cleaner) through a technostat filter.The air ultimately flows through two technostat, a HEPA, and a 4" thick carbon filter before safely reentering the room. There is no need for ductwork. Cabinets are available in single and double door models in  36", NEW 48" and 60" widths. They are 28" deep and 73" tall. with a 53" useable interior. All units are mounted conveniently on 3" heavy duty lockable casters for easy mobility (they role easily through standard doors). Although our drain can be hooked to your plumbing it is not needed. Our drain is located 20" above floor for proper drainage into a waste water container supplied with the cabinet.The cabinet can be cleaned with household detergent and a 10% bleach solution. The unit can be plugged into any three pronged outlet.These functions allow these cabinets to be stored in labs, offices, hallways, garage bays and even large closets. Our cabinets are built for ease of use and mobility. This is not the case for other cabinets. Our cabinets are made of heavy gauge polypropylene which will not rust and is easily cleaned. The cabinet will have either one or two clear acrylic doors with two point key locking latches. The controls consist of an on/off rocker switch and a visible low air flow alarm which indicates when filters should be changed. Also supplied is a hanging rail and tray for the placement of evidence.
