The Gieserlab GL50ST Swab Transfer & Drying Case is compact for transporting, and drying multiple swabs from a crime scene or from a victim examination in a sexual assault case by a SANE or Forensic Nurse. The case has a 21 swab capacity. The swab holder rack is designed so the swabs will not contact each other. Swabs are in a bottom to top air stream for effective drying. There is no internal light or heat which would degrade the evidence.
The G50ST is portable and compact - weighing only 16lbs with a carrying handle. Ambient air is drawn into the lower front side below the door. The air passes through a technostat, white blanket type pre-filter. Air is drawn upward and through a HEPA particulate filter near the top rear of the chamber. The air is then exhausted through a side port back into the room. The fan is a quiet and effective mover of air.
